My Story

When I started going through menopause, I wasn't prepared for how much it would affect me.

I expected the hot flushes and sleepless nights. What I wasn't prepared for was the anxiety that seemed to appear out of nowhere, the brain fog, the memory lapses that became so worrying I genuinely wondered if there was something seriously wrong with me, or how difficult it would become to focus.

Although awareness of menopause is improving, which is wonderful to see, I know there are still many women who don't feel comfortable talking openly about how it's affecting them, especially at work. It can be incredibly lonely, and it's easy to think you're the only one feeling this way.

Along the way, I also discovered I have ADHD, which helped explain some of the challenges I'd experienced throughout my life. But I know that many of the things I've experienced during menopause are shared by countless women, whether they have ADHD or not.

So I created MenoFocusHub.

I wanted to create a safe, welcoming online space for women experiencing menopause, wherever they are in the world. Somewhere we can work alongside each other, support one another, understand what we're going through, and not have to explain ourselves before someone gets it.

By coworking together remotely, we can enjoy the benefits of body doubling, encourage each other to get started, celebrate what we achieve and remember that sometimes simply showing up is an achievement too.

Whether you're working, studying, running a business, managing a home or just trying to regain your focus, there's a place for you here.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

I'd love to welcome you to MenoFocusHub.
